I saw Ed Staib’s truck and trailer while sitting in traffic one day I am sure glad I took his number. I had a very worn and weathered pool deck that I knew needed attention, Ed came out and took a good look at it, I had no idea it could ever look so good again. Ed sent a very detailed proposal explaining how he would clean and prep the deck, filling cracks and putting 2 coats of deck stain while adding a fine sand in final coat so deck would not be slippery when wet everything was done when and how he said it would the work is very neat and clean I still can’t believe it’s the same pool deck it was and absolute pleasure to work with Ed and Amy they are very professional and really did an outstanding job. I will definitely consider them for any future paint jobs and would recommend them to friends and family straight forward no nonsense and quality work we are very happy with our transformed pool deck.

Ed and his wife Amy did a fabulous job painting the entire interior of our townhouse. We needed the job completed before we moved in and they finished ahead of time and under budget. Two bedrooms were painted, walls and trim. Everything looks very good. The Staibs worked all day from 9-5:30 and got both rooms done. They moved furniture and then put it back. Replaced the plates on switches and outlets. They are very courteous, helpful people. We hadn’t purchased enough paint and they purchased more for us. The took down louvered bi-fold closet doors and spray painted them. Everything went like clockwork and we are very pleased.

Project consisted of Trim work (crown, baseboards, door frames), doors, main living areas, hallway, laundry and 3 bedrooms painted. Popcorn ceiling removed, retextured and painted. It was a pleasure to work with them. They were very detail oriented and took time and care on every aspect of the job. There was sanding, patching and retexturing of walls involved in our job, due to removal of large mirrors from walls and removal of cabinets. They were able to make everything look seamless as though it was never even there. They took great care in prepping all areas of the house for painting. I am very pleased with how everything turned out. They are exceptional at what they do and are wonderful people in general. I will definitely recommend them to others and would be happy to work with them again.

Everything turned out excellent. Ed and his family did an outstanding job in painting my mother-in-laws house. We found Ed on Angie’s list and based on his professionalism, work ethic and his friendly deme noir, I highly recommend him for painting whether it’s inside or outside. Pricing was important, but not the main reason we selected him. His proposal was 4 pages long and detailed everything that was to be done. Can’t say enough about this company and would only hire him should we need additional painting.

This husband and wife team spent 2 1/2 days painting. They removed most of the door most of which where louvered and difficult to paint. They were very efficient and quiet. They cleaned up after themselves. The painting was very well done. They were very meticulous. Although their estimate was the highest of three I received I choose them because of the amount of time and detail the spent on evaluating the job. The estimate was very detailed and professional. The quality of their work was a reflection of the quality of their estimate. I would recommended them without hesitation.

We had a water leak in the wall between the closet and the bathroom. After the repair was done and the hole in the wall (from the repair) was completed I called Ed. The bedroom was now empty and we had to remove the carpeting because of the water, so it was a perfect time to have the room painted. Ed came out with his wife and had the room painted with two coats of primer (because it had been so long since it had been painted) all in one day! He did a great job and cleans up afterwards.

Complete interior repaint 1750 sq.ft. Ed was on time for his estimate. I received a complete quote listing all items to be done. His pricing was the best, but not ridiculously so. We scheduled the work to be done about 3 weeks later. He and his staff were prompt and ready to go. The work was excellent. He finished the job on time, and left everything perfectly clean. I will definitely use him again. I went out of my way to tell him to feel free to use me as a reference.

They did a great job, very professional and thorough! They removed wallpaper in a bathroom and painted the bathroom & hallway. The bathroom & hallway look completely transformed. It took 2 days (double wallpaper to remove) and they were on time and left the place clean. I would definitly reccomend them. We are using them again next week for our master bathroom!

I called Ed and Amy the day before another painter was supposed to paint our nursery. The other painter was giving us some signs that it was not going to happen. We, unfortunately, have a deadline. So Ed and Amy came over for an estimate that afternoon. They met the other painter’s estimate and were able to come the next day! I just feel lucky I stumbled upon them. If you need a painter, I HIGHLY recommend them!!

I contacted Ed on 3/9/11 to see about getting a quote for a painting job. I explained that I had just had the kitchen/dinning area remodled and wanted to have the painting done a.s.a.p. Three adults staying basically in one room for 4 weeks gets real old… anyway, Ed agreed to meet me at 8:00 the next morning. He emailed me the quote of $425.00 plus materials of around $155.00 that very same day. I contacted Ed and said I wanted the job done. He came back that evening so that I could pick out the color paint and paint types I wanted. Knowing that I really wanted it done as soon as possible, Ed and his wife Amy agreeded to do the job on Sunday! The work was all done in one day…holes fixed, primered, walls, ceiling, trim and doors all painted! The rooms look great! No heavy paint smell and I never know a neat painter before. I plan on using Ed and Amy in a couple of weeks for another room. And this time I will give him a little more notice.

Ed returned my initial call immediately and arranged a time to come look at the room. He and his wife Amy, a team, looked at the room at the appointed time and provided me with a quote and we settled on a date for the job. They were very punctual. They extremely thorough with the prep work; removing the stubborn wall paper, filling all the nail holes, repairing the walls where necessary. They came with the right tools and used the right primer. I indicated that strong smells may cause my son headaches and they suggest the right low odor/low VOC paint and primers and even vented the room through the window with a fan they brought while they worked. The paint job is very even, there were no drips and the cut in was extremely neat (not easy on textured walls). I couldn’t have been more pleased!

We received a written quotation for an old bedroom re-do. The walls and closet were different colors, and the wall molding was the same color as the walls. The room had not been painted for over 20 years. The quote included many options – moving all the furniture or not, molding or not, closet or not. We chose to do everything and leave it all up to Ed Staib’s crew.Ed Staib’s painting crew scheduled quickly, arrived right on time, and completed an entire room in one day, as promised. The room included two different wall colors (2 coats each), all trim, doors, and closet. They did everything – moving the furniture, even cleaning some wall mold that was behind some furniture. They provided all paint – making it easy for us!

Exceptional quality in painting both the Interior and Exterior. Nothing short of perfection in detail as well as professionalism. Husband and Wife team which made me feel more comfortable leaving my home under there care if I had errands to do. Several neighbors have made positive comments on the transformation. I’ve always wanted my home to look like a part of Sicily. It certainly has the colors now to exemplify that . Meticulous about the smallest details as well as cleanliness before and after completion. He pressured cleaned, prepped all the doors and sprayed anti rust on all nails. He replaced all the rusted clamps that house pipes and wires from the A/C Unit. All cracks were caulked and sealed. I know this paint job will last me a long time. First: I needed the interior French doors painted. The paint was completely rubbed off by the handles. The doors now look like I purchased them today. I had crown molding installed in the bathroom. My bathroom looks so complete due to this detail. Installed and painted molding around two closet doors. Everything looks so new and detailed. My husband and I could not be more pleased with Ed and Amy’s quality work. We will definitely continue to have a working relationship with this company. I still have several future jobs in store for Ed Staib. Not only word of mouth will get his name out there so will Angie’s list.
